Join us for a special screening of Paradise Park as we celebrate the life and legacy of West Virginia filmmaker Danny Boyd.
Filmed in West Virginia and featuring a cast of local musicians, artists, and personalities, Paradise Park has become a beloved cult classic and a unique snapshot of Appalachian creativity in the 1980s.
Doors open at 6:30 PM, with the film beginning at 7:00 PM. Following the screening, stay for a special conversation with friends, collaborators, and community members who knew and worked with Danny. They’ll share stories from the making of the film and memories of Danny’s larger-than-life creative spirit. Audience members will also have the opportunity to ask questions and join in celebrating the legacy of one of West Virginia’s most original storytellers.
