Video Club Presents: Tucker & Dale vs. Evil

There are a lot of ways to spend your free time. We’re pretty glad some people in Huntington choose to spend theirs watching weird movies, arguing about them, and then making the rest of us watch them, too.

Video Club is a monthly movie discussion group where members take turns picking two films for everyone to watch and talk about. It’s a small but very cool part of Huntington’s art scene, just people who love movies getting together and making something happen.

For October, the films are Cemetery Man (1994) and Tucker & Dale vs. Evil (2010). We’re bringing Tucker & Dale to the big screen at Foundry.

If you haven't seen it, Tucker & Dale vs. Evil is a gloriously dumb, surprisingly sweet horror-comedy about two good ol’ boys, a rundown vacation cabin, a bunch of college kids, and a truly impressive series of misunderstandings. If you have seen it, you already know why this one deserves a theater full of people laughing at the same time.

And if you want to get in on the actual Video Club conversation, the group will meet Saturday, October 24th @ Heritage Station from 2–4 PM to discuss both October selections. That’s free, too.

Come for the movie. Stay for the weird little community of people who make things happen.
